jokes aside, i genuinely don't know what christian's problem with jack is
#lemme think about it:#i thiiiink he felt he had to be hard on him to make him the bestest doctor ever??#also maybe christian is projecting his own sense of self loathing onto jack#and adding some headcanon into it i think christian doesn't like that his Meant To Be Perfect Son is autistic#but thats my interpretation#ya know if jack was my son i'd be proud of him#and i know christian loves jack and he's proud of him. but like he's not very good at it#sometimes people love somebody but they're not good at it#because love doesn't inherently teach you how to treat other people well#all this aside - what was his problem with him when jack was a CHILD???#...im trying to make sense of abuse. an inherently irrational thing
