#i have a decent basic understanding of the timeline + bigger factions from wiki hyperfocus sessions (whoops)#also played and enjoyed the 2018 battletech vidya game! that was a blast#had a lot of fun in MWO too but that isn't uh. story oriented#not any more or less interested in any particular era i just find the whole setting fascinating and fun#and am game to try any recommendation >:D#battletech#mechwarrior
