Hi! Do you have a reclist of the queer films/dramas you like and would recommend to people? Because I found about “Cherry Magic” through your blog and I’m interested watching “Joan’s Galaxy” (although I’m not sure if that’s a episode to a drama series or a full series itself?)

My fav movies are The Handmaiden and Portrait of a Lady on Fire. I also really enjoyed Carol but I’m just trying to expand my palate, you know? Anyway thank you for this blog! I’m glad to have found a few more shows to check out!

where your eyes linger - a short korean webseries set in highschool that has a total runtime of 80 mins (u can watch it as a movie on viki) its literally a masterpiece with solid writing and a neat end! at first glance it would sound cheesy but the characters and story are written with such care and intricacy its beautiful... this ones mlm ! genre: slice of life, romance, drama

what did you eat yesterday - a jdrama about a middle aged established gay couple in japan where one is a lawyer who likes to cook and the other is a hairdresser who likes to eat, its so wholesome and soothing and beautiful i love it so much .. its also mlm ! genre: slice of life

the untamed - ok this one isn't like the others because its a 50 episode cdrama (which also means explicit romance is censored but honestly it didnt make it less obvious dkdhsksj) but pls don't let this intimidate you because its the most epic beautiful heart rending story ive ever seen, u will laugh so hard and break into tears and experience the entire emotional spectrum.... its also mlm and the genres are historical fantasy/wuxia !

legend of yunqian - this is a 15 episode mini series about a girl who travels back in time and sees a pretty lady and falls head first in love fkgkfjd its short and cute and funny ( but also its so much more than that once u get into it 👀), genres are the same as the untamed: historical fantasy/wuxia, romance

sf8: joan's galaxy - sf8 is a series where each episode consists of an individual story and joan's galaxy is the 3rd episode of it! the plot it pretty complicated to explain in short but its about how in the future, due to increased levels of fine dust, a vaccine that will increase ur life expectancy is given to those who can afford it. people with the vaccine are called C and without are called N. yioh believed she was a C her whole life but found out she never actually got the vaccine. she meets joan, the only other N in her college and its .... its magical. u have probably seen me promote this episode special like crazy and thats because its literally perfection and everyone needs to watch it at least once in their lives tbh, also the romance is not 'explicit' as in they don't say the words i love you, but in this specific context i don't think its actually needed .. also its wlw and genres are sci-fi

moonlit winter - this is a korean movie about a lady and her daughter. the daughter finds a letter written by her mothers old friend who now lives in japan. the daughter takes her mum to japan on a holiday and they end up at the place where her mothers old friend lives. this one is quiet, a little sad and nostalgic and it has the most beautiful shots and cinematography, it will leave u feeling cozy and sad ... wlw and genre: slice of life, drama
