i think what kibum said about jinki honing in on his style as a soloist with circle is right on the money. circle is the kind of song i’ve DREAMED of him doing. it feels like an ONEW song. the same way that bad love is 100% a key song or criminal is a taemin song, for instance. 

dice and blue are also distinctly him but more so as facets of who he is as an artist. they do an excellent job illustrating his frankly astonishing versatility. but, to me, circle feels all-encompassing and unquestionably lee jinki. also the name of the song/album is SO jinki. ◯! using a shape!!! brilliant and odd and striking!!!
