i made a lil huckleberry apple galette yesterday btw. in case anyone was wondering
#i gathered a whole 3/4 cup of huckleberries from the garden#NOT MUCH#but i made it work#they do not taste like much but pleasant texture! like i didn't cut them up at all so they have that pop. u know#(there are many varieties of huckleberries; if you have tasted ones that taste great i'm happy for u but those were not these)#(UNLESS i've been harvesting them before they're fully ripe. in which case... hopefully i will figure it out)#also yeah it leaked :( i used a pie filling recipe. probably the wrong move
