i knew some muslims are totally against music but i thought it was kind of a fringe/uncommon position but my aunt says she has multiple students who aren't allowed to participate in music class bc their parents are conservative muslims. like seriously they are pre-teens. let them play the recorder if they want.

#can we all just chill #im not a big music person and the idea of having to give up music is still pretty intense #altho not as bad as not being able to have coffee/tea in mormonism #they do allow energy drinks so i guess i could still get caffeine
