From the position of a FNaF fanfic reader back in the day, I generally remember A and C being prominent in the fics I found (maybe A more so), but I was down to read any option really! You had a lot of basic concepts, like Reader being the security guard for the pizzaria, or Reader breaking into the establishment during the night, but the Reader who gets stuffed in a suit by Purple Guy was a depressingly fun concept to see too!

There were a lot of cool human designs for the animatronics back when we just had FNaF1 (both full human and human-animatronic), with a lot of them being anime-inspired to some degree! Though there was always something appealing about the original animatronic designs for me, just how tall and bulky they are, you could imagine getting a large cuddle from them or being fiercely protected by one of them!

I'm sure if I looked back on the old fics I can find, I could easily point out all the classic tropes from the time (like making Golden Freddy a rival or villain for the story, stuff like that). I'm simultaneously very curious and quite scared to check through my old Quotev and Deviantart accounts for those old fics XDDD I'm also really curious about how fanfics past FNaF 4 handled things, since that's kind of where I stopped reading FNaF fics, so I wouldn't really have any knowledge there! Either way, if I find anything interesting, I can possibly let you know if you want!
