"Is worrying for our princess's wellbeing not a emergency?" False concerned leaked out of Vivien's lips. "You were gone from Camellia for quite a while, after all! Some may have begun to think you were being held somewhere!"

"What I do & where is none of your business." And it really wasn't.

"Oh, no need to get defensive, princess~" Everytime they addressed her by her title, it was laced with utter sarcasm. This was no princess before them, just someone with half-peasant blood & finery to hide her foulness.

"Goodness, it's like your trying to hide something from us~"

"Or perhaps... someone~?"

"And why does that matter? What? Don't tell me you both have your panties in a twist because I can get a companion without having to pay for it?"

"No one is soon forgetting how you got your mother to pay for Lord Seymour's firstborn & Lord Cross's secondborn to be your arm candy for the Spring Blossom Ball. I'm sorry you're so pathetic that you can't get someone for free, when even I don't have that problem. It was a word that was cut off mid way, when a violent torrent of dark matter blitzed right by both Vivien & Amalia's heads, the force within the energy easily able to send them both back onto their bottoms, & leave a black indent into the wall of the palace hallway just behind them. It would have been more then enough to remove their heads from their shoulders if either of them had been hit...

The 16 Bexley Children

#1.) Lysander Davenport Bexley

(No Faceclaim | Status: Deceased)

The (technically)first born Baxley child, conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her first husband, Duke Horatio Dennisons Bexley. Lysander was the long awaited baby that was hoped to fix a broken marriage, however, Margaret wanted a girl instead of a boy & was said to have broke down crying when she found out her child was a boy. The first born son would only live for a few months, before dying to SIDS. His father, the duke, would follow him into the afterlife sometime afterwards, leaving the entire Bexley estate to Margaret.

#2.) Horatio Dennisons Bexley Jr

(No Faceclaim | Status: Alive, Married)

The first born son, conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her second husband, Giles de Miles. Horatio was often called a ‘disappointment’ by his mother, as she was hoping her next child would be a daughter, however, when Horatio came out a male, she was said to be filled with despair. She even named her son after her first husband, which to the outside courts was seen as an act to try & honor her first husband, but was exactly as way to drive home how much of a disappointment Horatio was, as the Duchess also saw her first husband as a disappointment & a failure. Wanting to assure the Bexley Duchy went to a woman & not a man, Margaret secretly arranged to send Horatio off to another country to be married at a very, very early age, so he would not be first in line to take the estate when the Duchess eventually dies.

He is currently with the wealthy woman he was arranged to marry oh-so long ago & does not keep in touch with his family in Camellia.

#3.) Vivien Rothschild Bexley

The first born daughter & second child, conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her second husband, Giles de Miles. Vivien is the long awaited daughter that Margaret had been waiting for. As such, she was treated much differently from how her older brother was treated, spoiled heavily, & given a much broader education to make sure when she would one day be a duchess, she’d handle her position perfectly. Vivien is very bratty, prideful, arrogant & thinks herself above everyone else; even including that of the two Camellian Princesses, Ann & Suzanne Li, because of their ‘half-peasant blood’.

Currently, she is the heir to the Bexley estate & duchy, & unlike her other brothers & sisters, has the freedom to choose whoever she wants as her spouse.

#4.) Dixion Sheldon Bexley

(No Faceclaim | Status: Alive, Married)

The second born son & third child conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her second husband, Giles de Miles. Dixion was yet another ‘disappointment’ brought into the world through his mother’s eyes, as she wanted yet another daughter to serve as the ‘back-up plan’ for in case something happened to Vivien where she could no inherit the Bexley duchy. Fend up with having other nobles praise her for having more sons then daughters, she cut back hugely in Dixion’s education, as well as any future Bexley sons that may be born. Instead of giving them a wide education, that was usually more expansive then girl’s education at the time, her sons would all from then on only be trained to be home-makers & good & submissive husbands, while her girls would be given a man’s education; which scandalized the Camellian Court. Dixion too, like his brother before him, was arranged to marry a woman in another country, to avoid him inhering the Bexley estate before any of his sisters could, at a very, very young age.

Dixion too, like his brother Horatio, lives with that noble family he was arranged to marry long ago, & does not keep in contact with the rest of his family.

#5.) Blair Colleen Bexley

The second born daughter & fourth child conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her second husband, Giles de Miles. Blair was originally the ‘back-up plan’ Margaret wanted so badly, incase something happened to her current heir, Vivien. She had an education similar to Vivien’s as well, & was said to have been remarkably brilliant. Blair, however, at some point fell in love with a wealthy foreigner that she met at a ball held by the Royal Camellian Family. The Duchess, at first, refused to let her daughter marry him, however, after given birth to Carolina, another ‘back-up plan’ for Vivien, she allowed Blair to marry the man of her dreams.

Currently, she lives with that man she met & fell in love with all the years ago in another country. She keeps in touch with her family in Camellia sparingly.

#6.) Charles Alnwick Bexley

The third born son & fifth child conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her second husband, Giles de Miles. Charles would be the final child Margaret & Giles have, as not long after his birth, both father & son fell gravely ill. Thankfully, Charles survived his illness, as Giles spent the last of his strength tended to his son’s health. Margaret, despite having never truly love Giles, didn’t seem to forget her son for causing her husband’s death. It’s said she treated him the worst of all her children, border-lining on being abusive. The Duchess choose to marry Charles off to the first person who would take him, & as soon as possible, much to Charles’s delight, as he longed to be free from his opressive mother.

Currently, Charles is married to whomever it was that accepted the marriage offer oh so long ago. He is also so out of touch with his family that they don’t even seem to know if he’s alive or dead at the moment, but none seem to care enough to check on him.

#7.) Carolina Stuart Bexley

(Faceclaim: Senia Sunsethill from The Villain Demands I Love Him | Status: Alive, Single)

The third born daughter & sixth child, conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her third husband, Ralph Windsworth. Carolina wasn’t born with very many expectations, but after her older sister, Blair, left Camellia to marry the man of her dreams, she was suddenly thrusted into the position as her mother’s ‘back-up plan’ for the inheritance of the Bexley estate. This included her education being ramped up sharply to befit that of an heir. However, Carolina didn’t care much for her studies, she hadn’t beforehand, & because even less interested after her position changed. Carolina instead enjoyed public outings & reading fairytale novels & still does to this day.

Currently, Carolina stands as the secondary heir to the Bexley duchy, behind Vivien, but is a hopeless romance who seeks handsome princes & dashing knights, much to the dismay of her mother.

#8.) Charlotte Mortcombe Bexley

The fourth born daughter & seventh child, conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her third husband, Ralph Windsworth. Charlotte was born a very fragile baby, always getting sick & bruising easily, as such she was sheltered heavily, barely knowing the outside world beyond the few parties her mother would hold to impress other nobles. Margaret was hesitate to marry off Charlotte due to her fragile figure, it wasn’t until recently Charlette was married to very wealthy man, after getting him to fall in love with Charlotte & getting him to pay the duchess a very handsome dowry.

Currently, Charlotte still lives with that man, supposedly in a still very sheltered life, & keeps in close contact with the rest of her family.

#9.) Hunter Kaylock Bexley

The fourth born son & eighth child, conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her third husband, Ralph Windsworth; he is also the twin of Spencer Danvers Bexley. While Margaret was upset at having yet another boy, Hunter was either mistreated or misbehaved, in fact he was remarked as ‘a strangely well-behaved child’. Like his other brothers, he had a small education & was taught to be a submissive husband, however, when she showed a love for horses, the Duchess allowed him to follow his passion. He grow to be very good at training horses, grooming them, riding them & using weaponry on them(including swords, spears & bows & arrows). His skill of horseback combats recognized in Camellia, enough so to where Hunter was given the title of ‘Knight’, or more specifically ‘Cavalry Knight’.

Currently, he remains unmarried, which is seen as something disgraceful due to his upbringing, but he still seeks out a wife when given the chance.

#10.) Spencer Danvers Bexley

(Faceclaim: Ian Basilios(Vasilos) from Beware of the Villainess | Status: Alive, Single)

The fifth born son & ninth child, conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her third husband, Ralph Windsworth; he is also the twin of Hunter Kaylock Bexley. Unlike his twin brother, Spencer was a loud & rambunctious child, always looking for ways to get in trouble. As such, he was often treated harshly & looked down at by his mother, using borderline abusive methods to curb his behavior. After much work, Spencer did eventually mellow out into something of a fine young man, however, he takes his lessons from his younger days of being a good husband a bit too to heart, making it all that is about his being. His only goal is to get married, as he truly believes that is his fate, to be a husband & no much more.

Currently, he is single, & sees himself as disgraceful for such. He’s always seeking out a wife at every moment.

#11.) Mary Maria Bexley

(Faceclaim: LianShi from the Dynasty Warriors Series | Status: Alive, Single)

The fifth born daughter & tenth child, conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her fourth husband, Fergus Skys. Mary was born a very strikingly beautiful woman with a rare voluptuous figure & large breasts, Margaret says that ‘Mary is so beautiful because she was a baby born with true love shared between her parents’; she was often called the “True Love Baby’ by her parents. The duchess held a favoritism towards her, & thus gave her an education that would be what an heir to an estate would normally get, & has such, Viven is horribly jealous of her. Mary’s insane beauty always have people chasing after her to marry, however, Mary expresses zero desire to get married. Despite such, Margaret is always looking for someone worry to give her too, but holds Mary in a much higher standard then most of her other children, believing she can use her daughter’s beauty to get the Bexley name into a higher class.

Currently, Mary Maria in Princess Suzanne’s lady-in-waiting, a position she uses an an excuse as to way she cannot marry anyone yet, as a lady-in-waiting can not get married before her mistress does.

#12.) Catherine Sophia Bexley

The sixth born daughter & eleventh child, conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her fourth husband, Fergus Skys. Catherine, like her older sister Mary, was heavily favored over her other siblings, & was given a education that Margaret normally only gave her heirs. Catherine was a very bright child, but had a life long obsession with her hair. She grew it out very long at an early age & refused to cut it & rarely braided it, often spent many hours combing it, & had a social knick were she would start combing her hair, either with her fingers or any near-by comb/brush she could find. As she grew older, she used her long for hair & her huge intellect to create her own line of hair-care products, using the oils taken from her home Kingdom’s namesake flower, the camellia, as ingredients. This line of hair care products are today called ‘Rapunzel's Oil’ & are very popular both inside & outside of Camellia.

Currently, she still runs her business of Rapunzel’s Oil Hair Care products on her own, making her own living & is only one out of the two Bexley Children that don’t live at the Bexley Mansion with the rest of the family.

#13.) Amalia Gabriela Bexley

(Faceclaim: Adellia von Machnagah from The Black Haired Princess | Status: Alive, Single)

The seventh born daughter & twelfth child, conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her fourth husband, Fergus Skys. Pronounced the Austrian way of A-moll-e-a, Amalia was a very bright & happy child, at the cost of her intelligent, as well as having a short temper hiding under her smile. She could both make a whole room smile, at in the same note, make them roll their eyes, before exploding at those who rolled their eyes at her. Born with no real talent & wisdom, despite having so much education, Margaret has considered it best to try & find a husband who will be able to take care of her, as she will clearly not be able to care for herself.

Currently, Amalia lives her life free as a bird, unknowing her mother plans to find her a husband quite soon.

#14.) Arther Brock Bexley

(Faceclaim: Ciel Phantomhive from Black Bulter | Status: Alive, Single)

The sixth born son & thirteenth child, conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her fourth husband, Fergus Skys. When Arther was very young, but still a babe, he & his father were traveling back to the Bexley Masion after visting Fergus’s extended family. Tragedy struck when an avalanche suddenly rolled down the road the boy’s carriage was on, taking the pair & the carriage down the hill with him. Fergus Skys was kill in the disaster, but somehow, Arther survived, but he was not without injury. He lost legs, which would leave him wheelchair bound the rest of his life, multiple broken bones & his eye taken as well. Somehow through it all, he survived. The accident is what lead both King John & Duchess Margaret to push for more modern & safer methods of transportion around the Hot Spring Mountains, including railroad trains that can withstand the force of small avalanches. Arther’s mother sheltered him for the longest time after that, it wasn’t until many years later, after fully completed his extended schooling, was he able to roam somewhat free, so he decided the first he do was follow one of his greatest passions: tea.

Currently, Arther is the creator of the Camellian blend of Earl Grey tea, & he also owns & runs the Lavender Manor, a teahouse & restaurant that is extremely successful to the day. He is also one of the two Bexley Children that do not live at the Bexley Mansion.

#15.) Johanna Josepha Bexley

(Faceclaim: Elizabeth Midford from Black Bulter | Status: Alive, Single)

The eighth born daughter & fourteenth child, conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her fifth husband, Ashby Fairwell. Born sometime after the rise in popularly of names that had ‘Ann’ in them brought on by Princess Ann Yang Li, Johanna is young & lively, but holds a strong spirit & will to peruse that which she wants, which is seen as rambunctious by other nobles. She also has a oddly strong ability for swordsmanship & started combat training very early. Johanna is supposedly much, much better then her much, much older sister, Vivien, who also practices swordplay.

Currenly, she is still finishing her schooling, but she has high hopes for her future, just as her mothers does.

#16.) Kassandra Annette Bexley

The ninth born daughter & fifthteenth child, conceived between Duchess Margaret Bella Bexley & her fifth husband, Ashby Fairwell. Born sometime after the rise in popularly of names that had ‘Ann’ in them brought on by Princesses Ann Yang Li & Suzanne Ying Li, Kassandra is very, very young & very, very impressionable. She shows a promise in her studies, having high ranking grades, she is however, quite shy & unsure of how to present herself to court yet.

Currently, as Kassandra goes on with her studies, she is also one of Princess Ann’s ladies-in-waiting. Ann however, encourages her to focus on her studies more then her duites to her.

It wasn’t that often Carolina liked to go out shopping with a few of her siblings, it was usually far to cold up in the mountains to make the trip to the nearest town, but thankfully, summer had actually reached the normally ice cold state & it was prefect weather for an outing. In her company was her younger brother & sister, Spencer & Amalia.

And Amalia, being the excited little girl she was, was running around, always ahead of the other two & barely paying attention to where she was actually going.

While I love the Xiao Qiao fc, the expressions Adellia makes is more suiting towards Amalia’s personality & is more around the age Amalia should be.
