Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are well known as AME. He is a licensed person, who carries out aircraft maintenance to keep an aircraft airworthy. To become AME, firstly the applicant must have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or university or its equivalent. Then applicant has to take two year basic training under CAR-147 Basic Training Organization. How do you qualify for AMECEE?
Candidate should have basic knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and general awareness to qualify AMECEE. MCQ’s will be asked in examination. Remember one thing that there will be negative marking, 4 marks for each correct question and 1 mark will be charged for wrongly attempted questions or with multiple attempts per question.

What is Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course?
The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or AME is a course offered by few institutes , which deals with the maintenance, upgrade and quality assurance of aircrafts. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is a Licensed course of four years duration. The AME course is approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The license is also recognized internationally by the International Civil Aviation Organization.
The four- year Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course encompasses two years of theoretical learning and the final two years involve practical training. The AME course teaches about the detailed structure and engineering of an aircraft in terms of its mechanical and electrical aspects. During the last two years of training, the students will get a stipend.
