Most people come here in the spring or the summer to cool off and have fun in this natural playground. They’re not all picture perfect. But being the off season, the majority of the RV parks in the area were closed. Finding a dog friendly hotel already has some serious constraints depending on the part of the country. A 2 hour drive to Ft. Collins to grab provisions & groceries. A great lunch and a little research at an incredible restaurant concept. A bath for Gerttie, finally. Two & a half more breathtaking hours driving up to 12K’ & over the Continental Divide, Elk sighting. Laundry and a JU homemade dinner.
