#AdrianaMartinez, mother of the #Uvalde school shooter, was met with much backlash after a meeting for students in the town. According to @telemundo, family members of 10-year-old #AmerieJoGarza, one of the 21 victims of the Uvalde school shooting, approached Martinez and had a screaming match. Her response to them was “you have no right to judge my son.” During the exchange she also apologized to the families, “I know my son was a coward and you don't think I don't know that, I know. You don't think I'm carrying all that with me.” _______________________________ Amerie’s grandmother expressed her frustrations about the shooters mom to the outlet that saying, “She’s not innocent. She raised him like that. She knew how he was. She knew he had guns. She’s not innocent.” Grieving family members continued to scream out various issues to Martinez, asking why she didn’t call the cops to which she responded “I didn’t know.” _______________________________ After the massacre, Adriana Martinez said her son had his reasons for the shooting. Her response was met with much protest online.
