Now, I did not think we would get to this point; it was just a threat. But I was curious about what would happen in a secret mirage wedding.... And it's climactic for a finale. And it's pushing Jet toward his worst fears, which he's been trying to escape... it's good for a story to put a character under high pressure. The villains ultimate designs....the villain really thinks they're going to win. And we (including me) are like, how can he possibly get out of this? Toward what the villain wanted in the first place, personifying the worst of the rabid fans along with the worst in Quarantine, the ones who actually deserve to be there. What it was originally designed for, traitors (lower level ones)

Now, this trilogy is focusing on 1 villain, who isn't as concerned with worlds events, but it introduces villains and sparks possible events that can be explored in another story further on. Ones who are more concerned with toppling the present order, the Marches, Jet's family.

2500 words today!

I was pet sitting and came back this morning so I had to clean and pack. Shovel bc there was a big snowstorm yesterday and go up the driveway to put my things in the car bc the driveway wasn't plowed and my car was at the top. Then I had to unpack at home, and by that time it was 11. I started writing around then... a bit tired already but I wanted to write before lunch so I could make sure to get to it.

Wrote til almost 3. Part of that was notes, like usual... making sure I didn't forget something. And going back over notes did help me think of something so it usually pays off. Just so it doesn't take up all the time for writing.

Getting toward the end -- who knows how exactly it will go. I have a main idea but the characters also have their own ideas. I can gently guide them and bring up ideas but they will make unpredictable decisions and think their own thoughts so... best not to direct them too much and turn them into lifeless puppets.

It felt a little... light and strange... perhaps too many of my own thoughts or diverging too much? Or things are getting strange and idk how to deal w it.... Not what I thought. Or fix somw later. Anyway it is rather hard, I mean. Jet is in an impossible situation. But I have every confidence in him, unlike himself .... I can't leave him in this place. No matter how hard it is to get him out...
