šŸŽ® Favorite Video Game? šŸ”Ŗ Favorite Weapon? šŸŽØ Art or Writing? šŸ“±Android or Apple? šŸ‘» If you died, who would you haunt first? āš”ļø If you could meet any fictional character in person, who would it be? šŸ‘½ Do you believe in life outside of our universe?
Send me a symbol!Ā
Thanks for sending some! :D
šŸŽ® Favorite Video Game?Ā
I’m really bad at choosing, so... I’m gonna go with top three instead! Mario Kart (and of the series), Okami, Fire Emblem (especially Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn as these two were basically what fixed me into this series).
šŸ”Ŗ Favorite Weapon?Ā
Um... my mouse? As in, virtual?I don’t really know any weapons or how to use them, so I don’t really have a favourite - but I do like the look of some of these smaller swords (not quite daggers I think, but no idea about their actual name), so maybe them? Or, I have seen pictures of iridescent knifes or something (I think even on your blog?xD), maybe these simply because of the pretty colors.
šŸŽØ Art or Writing?Ā
Art, if only for the simple fact that every few days I find myself wishing that I would be able to draw as nicely as some people do.I obviously enjoy writing a lot, but I find it fascinating how pictures can inspire people on first glance and even make them come up with their own versions of stories behind art.
šŸ“± Android or Apple?
Definitely android! I might be not exactly subjective though, I have never really used any apple products at all - I had an IPod, as in MP3-player, but that’s not really a thing that I count as AppleOS since all I had to do to use it was press buttons and download iTunes.I will always stick with android as long as I can.
šŸ‘» If you died, who would you haunt first?
That’s a strange question xD.I don’t really hold grudges or anything, so I can’t really think of anything? I could name you people that made me angry in online games, or ones that weren’t exactly nice during my school-time, but there is none that I would like, actually ā€˜haunt’? Sorry, guess I can’t really give any good answer here!
āš”ļø If you could meet any fictional character in person, who would it be?Ā
Hmm, I don’t know. Meeting Starfire would probably be interesting, but then again there’s always the statement of not meeting your heroes (or however that goes), so maybe it would be better to pick someone I’m not that invested in....No, I can’t really think of anyone I’d like to meet in person. I prefer contact online, meeting people in person always feels like a hassle of sorts? So I guess I’ll stick with Starfire as answer here, even though I probably wouldn’t actually want that either.
šŸ‘½ Do you believe in life outside of our universe?Ā
This means outside of the solar system?100%, or probably better 1000% YES.Like, make the % for the chance of life existing on other plantes as small as you want, there are so many planets out there (and with the galaxy always growing there come more every moment or something? Idk I’m not good at that science stuff) that even with the tiniest of chances, there will be some planet where there exists something.
And if this wasn’t talking like solar system, and more about other dimensions or whatever... I don’t know. It sure is possible, and so I’m not gonna say I don’t believe it, so I guess I do believe.

From light bulbs to coffee bags – here's how to re-use household waste in the garden
In a bid to reduce waste and do our bit for the environment, we’ve dug out six tips on how to re-use household waste in the garden.
We’ve enlisted the help of garden experts at Garden Buildings Direct to share how households can be recycled most efficiently in our own gardens.
Related:Ā Five things you should be doing to look after your garden in winter
ā€˜Doing our bit to save the planet has never been more important, and it’s true what they say – every little helps,’ says a spokesperson from Garden Buildings Direct.
ā€˜Most things can be upcycled or re-used in the garden, if you think creatively enough. So, before you throw out your old lightbulbs or even food packaging, see if you can find another use for it outside.’
How to re-use household waste in the garden
1. Plastic

While we wish to banish plastic bottles altogether, finding a way to re-use them is a good start. ā€˜Plastic bottles make great planters, including trendy vertical gardens and self-watering planters.’ say the garden experts.

ā€˜ They also make good watering cans, and could even be cleaned and stuffed with plastic wrappers to create eco-bricks.’
2. Light bulbs

ā€˜Once the electrical components are removed, light bulbs make perfect homes for air plants and water-saving succulents.’ Who knew?!
The experts advise, ā€˜If you’ve never tinkered with a light bulb before, consult a tutorial. Then once your bulb is cleaned out, all you’ll need is some succulent potting soil and small potting pebbles – and your plants, of course.’
3. Lollipop sticks
ā€˜Save lollipop sticks to make customised markers for your garden or seedlings. All you’ll need is a permanent marker and a reusable cloth.’ the spokesperson comments.
ā€˜Apply a few drops of a solution of warm water and sea salt to the ends of your lollipop sticks, then use the reusable cloth to rub off any remaining stickiness. Let the sticks dry outside for at least an hour, then label them with permanent marker, and use them to mark plants in your garden.’
4. Glass

ā€˜Glass bottles and jars can be used for sleeker self-watering planters, slow-release irrigation in beds or holders for rooting clippings.’
5. Packaging
ā€˜Used packaging, such as bags from coffee or rice, can be opened carefully and reused for storing the next batch of beans from the garden, or seed collections.’
6. Old CDs
View this post on Instagram
Within a couple of days of setting up my Windows and Apple OS bird scarer, Windows started doing things it wasn’t supposed to, tying itself in knots causing me to waste time sorting out problems that were of its own making. The Apple OS just kept going; sure, it may not be the most sophisticated solution, and some might say overpriced for what it does but it does a job #pluscachange #windows #appleos #upcycling #birdscarer

ā€˜Using string or fishing wire, hang a few old CD discs off the branches of nearby trees or fix them to fences or walls to create a DIY bird scarer.’
And the reason being, ā€˜Birds are often deterred from landing on or near garden vegetables if their vision is distracted, and a shiny, reflective CD hanging near the garden provides just the right movement and distraction needed to keep the birds away.’

The work here at Mounts Hill is varied on a regular day but my to do list last week included something completely out of the ordinary.Ā  My first task of the day was to sell a rocket on Ebay!
Our friends at Cranbrook Iron and Hi-flight Aerospace created this extraordinary 8 metre rocket for the local Apple Fair this year, the theme of the day being Cowboys and Aliens!Ā  But now it’s taking up space in an already overcrowded workshop at Cranbrook Iron and it needs to go.
The Ebay description reads as follows:
SPACE, THE FINAL FRONTIER…
Ā  FOR SALE – APPLEO 11
Ā  An unmissable opportunity to join the space race!Ā  This is the rocket you were looking for!
A highly illogical Christmas present for any local rocket-less astronaut…
Ā  Currently stored at CASA – Cranbrook Aeronautics and Space Administration, after its first and only successful unmanned mission toĀ boldly go where quite a few men have gone before.Ā Ā
Ā  Constructed in mild steel band with box section laterals to handle warp speeds of up to 13 light years per 13 light years!
It measures 8.5m high by 700mm in diameter
Covering is painted Proplux material.
Comes with own plinth and A frame launching dock.
Ā  It’s a rocket, Jim, but not as we know it!Ā Ā
It is a complete, single component and therefore cannot be taken apart.Ā  However, it can be transported on a car roof rack from our CASA vehicle assembly building (shed) to your launch complex if your Missile Crawler Transporter Facilities are otherwise engaged.Ā Ā
Ā  The rocket has no nuclear capabilities and we will not take bids from Dictators, or any derivation of that word, either Far Eastern or Western!Ā  We will gladly accept any questions from anyone by the name of Scotty, Buzz, Han or Jean-Luc.Ā  We have interpreters at the ready, fluent in Klingon, Ferengi and Romulan.
Ā  Live Long and Prosper!
Unfortunately the listing finishes today and while there have been over 200 views and a number of watchers it hasn’t sold.Ā  So, if you can think of any astronauts that are looking for a bespoke rocket to add to their collection, let me know!

where's your username from, like why/how'd u make it??
tHANK YOU SO MUCH šŸ™šŸ™
HOKT SHIT I JUST REAKIZED HOW LONG IT IS ..STORY TIME I GUESS????
ahem, here we go:
ok history behind the name
sooooo before i used to change names like 24/7
then when i got into genshin, i went to the genshin amino, (where i was originally Lloyd, because, reasons.) and i got invited to a chat, and i didnt want to keep changing name so they could recognize me easily.
then on a random day i was watching videos on like characters voicelines and i was watching one on venti, as he was my favorite character back then(maybe he still is? i relate to him a lot).
So when i heard this part of this voice line: ā€œCelestia... I'm not sure even I could fly that far. In any case, the water there tastes foul and the fruit is blandā€ i got an idea for a username- since his favorite food is apples, and it’s a fruit and the ā€œfruit is blandā€ in celestia i thought of a perfect name:
ā€œApples from celestia taste ewā€ (i was about to criticize it on being long, but then remembered that my present name is long too)
so there i was, chilling in the chatroom when someone called me ā€œApplesā€ for short, and like that was cool and i wanted to include other names of characters in my name but it was too long, so i asked them all, ā€œhey would you guys still recognize me if i was just APPLES?ā€ and they said yes so i was just apples for a while
(well like, variations of apples is [characters name]) then i changed it to Apples-Sirin (almost went with Apple.S) because i really liked a character named sirin, so more variations of Apples-sirin is [character name] came along.
eventually i grew out of the genshin phase a bit so i changed my name to just ā€œApplesā€
after a long while i changed my name to wade, since most people from the chat weren’t online anymore (ALSO IT GOT FUCKING DELETED IM STILL PISSED ABT THAT) and the two major people i made friends with knew me and we were in our own small group chat.
so people called me Wade, obviously, and that prompted me to changing my name on other platforms to ā€œAppleWadeā€, since i liked the name wade quite a bit. then after another while i decided to remove the wade from my name,
and add ā€œYumeYumeā€ in the front instead, i got it from like a game event (project sekai, of course) because ā€œyumeā€ meant ā€œdreamā€ and i guess i have dreams, and ā€œyumeyumeā€ means something, i forgot ..but it also can mean ā€œeffortā€ when you spell it in like..kanji i think. and i want to put effort in my work, i guess.
oh and then in the the genshin amino thing i changed my name to leo because..,leo of course. and then while spelling Yumeyumeapple, i wanted to include ā€œleoā€ in it because yeah and then i realized:
ā€œappleā€ take away ā€œappā€ you have ā€œleā€ just add an o and it’s ā€œleoā€ so appleo. apple leo. yumeyumeappleo. Tada.
