#an unexpected but not unwelcome side effect of melatonin is that now when i wake up from a nightmare#i'll be so tired i'll fall right back asleep like immediately#woke up terrified last night and needed a good few minutes just to catch my breath#normally that would have kept me up for like an hour because i'll be scared to fall back into it#but staying awake was like NOT an option so i clocked tf out in 10 minutes#either that'll stay great or it's gonna trap me in a nightmare loop at some point#we'll see i guess
