me considering watching Dune Part Two and realising I'd legitimately rather reread Dune
#the context is that 1) i am a very avid movie watcher and far less avid book reader#and 2) reading 'dune' felt like putting my head through a giant cheese grater#so if i would rather reread the book than watch part two of the latest adaptation......... maybe i really did not care for part one#and maybe denis villeneuve peaked at 'arrival' for me personally :|#i'm glad he's living his best highbrow auteur life or whatever but like.... i'm bored. bye#EDIT oooh maybe i'll rewatch the lynch one instead LMAO *man tapping his head wisely dot gif*#or wait! i could watch the miniseries! i actually haven't seen that one. yeah i'm gonna watchlist that right now actually.
