so I was wrong about the roof and b-stage songs being swapped out, but TBSG didn’t survive :( I do share your sentiment, though. it sounds like a demo and while i love the studio version, it’s not that great live. i love fallingforyou but I was hoping they’d save that slot for a Notes song.

Yeah, you’re right. I mean, I’m sure there is some way to do TBSG live. It’s just that the studio version relies on a lot of production and sound editing that you can’t quite replicate live. But do y’all remember when they did Tonight (I Wish I Was Your Boy) during the Australian leg of the tour? And like replaced the intro bit with Jamie Squire’s vocals? That’s was SO COOL. They could try stuff like that? Or even just do an acoustic just Matty and the guitar? I love the song because it’s like the most “I love you” that one could fit into a song and I find that so sweet.

Honestly I would DIE to get ITTSYSK. That song means so so much to me. Maybe it’ll make its way onto the setlist. Not mad about Fallingforyou in the meantime. I love that song so much. And it’s one of those songs where it’s the opposite to the TBSG situation. It actually sounds BETTER live than on the album. But yeah. Silly little box band has us all in a chokehold ugh. I love them so much 🩷

I have a feeling the roof song and the first b-stage song are going to be swapped out each night but if i open a livestream tonight and don’t hear Then Because She Goes or FSOM there will be hell to pay.

Also as much as I love Paris, I need to hear ACOH live, so I’m hoping it’s safe.

Can I be a hater? I think Then Because She Goes needs some work. It’s a difficult song to do live, I’ll give him that much. But maybe they should think about adding/ removing an instrument or something. It just didn’t sound that great and Matty didn’t sound like he meant a word from what he was singing.

Also, not to be a total asshole but like why doesn’t the crowd know the Notes songs :( maybes it’s just the venue. Californians have told me that they hate the Sacramento arena and that San Jose is better. So hopefully tonight’s will be good.

I was honestly shocked at how well bagsy not in net worked as a roof song???? I was like WHATS HAPPENING MY BRAIN IS MELTINGGGG. Also the fuck did he manage to get up there so fast????? Honestly this show is remarkable. But yeah. Boys, do something shout TBSG.
