HBO Joel is resonating with me so much more than game Joel ever did and… the story of TLOU is just completely coming together for me.
#the games are my FAVORITE games but I don’t like game Joel sorry#game Joel was too… yell-y and temperamental for me#I get he’s a morally grey character but I just didn’t like him#(also I don’t like Troy baker’s voice acting I’m sorry)#HBO Joel is a little quieter/calmer/softer and Pedro is also just really likeable#and I just feel myself getting so hooked and immersed in Joel and Ellie’s relationship in a way I wasn’t able to previously#and if you disagree that’s ok I know that not liking game Joel is an unpopular opinion!
