#this is soooo crazy but the only time I have ever let him read something I wrote was when I was 9 years old#and I wrote literally two sentences. the main character’s name was majorie and I described her as having ‘dun colored hair.’#my dad’s only response was to say majorie wasn’t a real name and dun wasn’t a real word.#wrong on both counts!!!! anyway this feedback was enough to depress me for days#do I give this man another chance. for the high crime of being bad with kids nearly 20 years ago.
