fairy tales are one of my favorite things, and since neverafter started--and compounded with the fact im doing fairy tales rn with my students--my brain has been roiling with spooky fairy tale dnd character concepts, last night i finally sat down and started trying to concrete them out a little, which ironically included a thumbelina so it was funny timing for her to make an appearance in the show tonight

#mine seems to be... different than the one on the show so its all good lol #she almost burned to death because she maybe doesnt understand that beautiful things are not necessarily good things #and a king of flowers is not inherently a better husband than a toad just because hes pretty #now shes got a big ol tarantula hawk buddy and a bunch of lotus-eater amnesia #but even if she doesnt remember where it is she knows home is out there somewhere #and shes gonna find it #also shes a lesbian and so is the steadfast tin soldier and maybe they are going to fall in love #who can say
