he’s back and he is tinier and gayer than ever before. (  not really tho, i just added even more unbearable angst to his backstory and made him even cuter ) although on the brightside he’s finally gonna find ways to tackle that side hoe depression of his. so without further ado, here is a little re-intro and plotting call to your dancer and sub vocal two of the charm boys : 

he now goes by seong byeongkwan, but everyone calls him astral because its his stage name for one and for two its easier stupid long named little egoist 

he is now a 97 liner so he is grown but also likes to be nurtured and protected, please give him love, the boy needs love he went his whole life with noNe even from his damn family like * hans voice* oh astral, if only there was someone who loved you. 

some of his backstory has changed, so as we all know his father was physically abusive because of his homosexuality but in this change up astral’s mother did come back for him and hoped to give him freedom by taking him away with her, however the night she returned, astral literally was forced to watch as his father mercilessly ran his mother over and the chance of love and freedom was blotted out once again. (  haha i love you astral ) 

his father got charged with manslaughter, it was believed to be a drunk driving incident but of course astral knew better which lead to his running from home and kicking it on the streets for a long long time, living in an abandoned old building with just a mattress to sleep on and a very select few possessions until he was scouted for charm.

this astral has done quite a lot of developing in how he copes with his depression, rather than simply accepting that he has never really gotten close truly to anyone other than jihoon and theo from the band he is now not afraid to make an effort with his other brothers/members and become as close to them as he truly should be and they are to each other. 

he is self healing and it is very cathartic after a long time of charm being on uneasy water having to balance not only band issues but also personal ones each. meeting noah, has meant he has a place to empty out all his sadness that feels safe and isn’t on the brink of suicide on a remote cliff edge hidden by wide trees and brushes. 

becoming close with lyra has meant he feels more able to connect with someone about his sexuality and be protective of someone else and their journey with accepting it for a change, a lot of new friends have appeared and a lot of small but massively significant changes to how he communicates and lives has meant a happier, more free astral. 

he’ll always have trauma and depression, his sexuality will always be a bit of a whirlwind for whether he feels truly liberated by it or if this career choice just shames it more for him who is finally broken free of that from his father BUT he knows how to cope now, what works for him and how to have less of those bad days even if they still occur often enough and he sometimes forgets how to be human, and is still angry and sad and a little lost a lot of the time somewhere deeper down but he just needs checking up on subtly, a hand on his shoulder and a reminder he isn’t alone anymore. 

a lot of his plots had been abandoned before, so if anyone would like to like this post then i’ll approach them or you can slip into messages to me for fresh plots if we have never plotted before, especially if you mun fellow charm members or if you simply want to spruce up our current plot a bit, or you’re a new member looking for more plots!! 

don’t be totally fooled, there is still a fair bit of angst coming for some of his threads but that angst is going to ultimately lead to a more honest and a more comfortable astral who doesn’t feel like he’s hoarding loads of sordid secrets and struggles.
