Not me writing an in-universe justification for why Muscular was where he was during the summer camp attack because putting a close-range brawler on the outskirts of the perimeter seems fucking stupid.

#basically: the dude is so crazy that he'd kill anyone he saw and ignore the kill list #and the only students who could possibly get through Dabi Mustard and Moonfish on perimeter are kill list students anyway #i write pre-Kamino so often that writing the planning stages for the mission is actually a fun mental exercise #we know where everyone was during the mission but WHY did Dabi and Tomura put them there? what was the strategy?#i know the authorial justification is 'deku needed a big action setpiece and it needed to be far from the others so it would be solo'#and at the time Deku was only close-range punches so Muscular's fighting style fit #it just makes no sense from a strategic perspective on the villains' part without further consideration
