I don't actually understand how Robin Hobb has managed to write the gayest possible scenarios into this book but then inevitably goes ye all these characters are 100% straight so anyway Burrich was clearly deeply in love with both Chivalry and Patience and 50% of all their problems would've been solved if they had all just sat down and talked abt this

#its only 50% bc they all have a LOT of problems #but still #anyway i love the whole disaster they had going on #the whole devoted soldier/sworn protector who is clearly deeply in love with his lord #in a way that might be mutual!!!#but which he refuses to let himself pursue because of the difference in station #and bc his priority has to be this persons safety whcih he can only do from the background he cant be as effective if he were their lover #and then sprinkled with a lil oh no hes ALSO in love with his lords wife??????#i love A+++ 100/10 and we are SO close to having it here if only robin hobb had the guts 😔#anyway he gAVE CHIVALRY THAT EARRING G O D and he turned patience down bc he felt he couldnt both love her and serve chivalry;;;;;#this man is bisexual #the farseer trilogy #realm of the elderlings #burrich
