I see! Thank you for the answer, I am very grateful! I think that the argument of uniform could be easily debated with: “If it’s so dangerous, why didn’t she have bodyguards? Or CLK members protecting her? Why a cloak?” but I see what you mean ^^

These are the arguments they would give to the Allied Nations, so would the whole Thean government and Clover Kingdom band together to deceive them? Doesn’t Thea know because of Celer and the report in Embers, and Clover because Solara has been prominent member even if the filing would go awry? Julius knew at least in Embers, I think? I mean, she is a foreign ambassador that joined military, that doesn’t happen very often. Not something you’d easily forget, especially when they court the most handsome Captain ^^  

It's an interesting premise, because it would need the co-operation of both nations, making them ally already even if not in paper...to deceive their previous, older allies...in order to ally with Clover. Quite the tangle!

And yes, it's indeed quite a tangle, which no one really planned for, because... Lara was counting on them being able to sort things out, just write it off as her meeting Fue on her travels, them starting correspondence, or otherwise being friendly with each other, and then eventually there would have been an alliance.

But now there's the war. There's everything that comes along with it, and it's not really... beneficial for anyone in question. So, when it wasn't played by the book from the beginning (from the official standpoint), they're trying to patch things up when it would probably just be easier for her to forfeit her position. (Which she doesn't really want to do, and neither does the Queen, at least for now.)

So, they're way over their heads, and it's just... A matter of trying to make due with what they have 😔😂
