Basically Phin and Ferb are from different districts and they meet in the games and become bffs and cue general hunger games events, like the rebellion etc etc. Ferb gets a scythe. For fun. Also Jenny and Django both die horribly

Some of the other guys are previous victors, like Dakota, Melissa, Milo. Milo didn't even kill anybody (directly) he just won by being unkillable. Cavendish is from the capital because or course he is, he's an escort (like Effie). Perry is Ferb's older brother and a career but Ferb volunteered for him. And then Perry gets hijacked it's hilarious
