I love this, because Eliot knows. You can see it on his face, he knows they're not going to get him out. But Parker wants to try, and he loves Parker, and he knows that telling Parker she can't do something is not going to make her give up. So yes, Eliot will try his darndest to get that man back to his wife, even though he knows.
