In the expensive and insanely over-the-top version of The Oresteia that torments me in all my waking hours, I imagine Clytemnesta played by someone with Gwendoline Christie's height/build
#please feel free to ignore this#I'm reading The Oresteia#SOOOO important that she's like larger than life#Jennifer Saint's characterization of Aegisthus as a pathetic weiner lives in my brain#and even Fagles and Stanford are like this guy is a fucking clown who sat in the corner sucking his own dick and then made everyone clap#Aegisthus is less than her in every way and that should be reflected in physical presence as well#Athena is and has only ever been Gina Torres in my head#No other fancasts as of present but the Atreidae MUST be bears#Agamemnon needs to make Clytemnestra look like a normal-sized woman he must be a redwood tree#By contrast Cassandra needs to be smaller than average and absolutely pathetic looking#Like one look at her and even before you know she's Cassandra you feel so sorry for her bc you know nothing good is happening for/to her
