agdjfjagsgbdjf my dad does not know how to talk to people and after a lil “hey dad instead of talking to mum that way maybe you could rephrase it this way instead:____” my brother was semi-jokingly like “maybe you should get tested for autism” and he thought that was ridiculous

then my brother said “I have a doctor’s recommendation to be tested for adhd” and I said “yeah me too” and mum and dad both started going off about how dumb that is, and how everyone just wants a label these days, and every kid would be diagnosed with it blah blah blah

mum asked what makes someone think I have adhd so I started listing off my symptoms and dad’s like “we’re all like that!!! that’s just normal!”

yeah dude exactly, we all have adhd, this is not normal for the wider population
