Having a resurgence in anime rewatches after nearly six years of watching k-dramas instead (blame bungou stray dogs, they haven't had a full season update since 2016 and until jjk I didn't see anything come out I wanted to watch) has been a trip. It's like being thrown full bodied through the looking glass to have a conversation with my thirteen year old self haha. Seeing as what I consider "old classics" includes Ouran Host Club, Hakuoki, Vampire Knight, Brave 10... maybe it's not such a mystery why we are here today... ^^'

#i am in this picture and i don't like it #but i am also in this picture and can't do anything but enjoy it #i found hakuoki just today and am wasting my holiday watching it #and feeling like it would make an amazing backdrop for a naruto au #it's truly a plot that only gets richer if you add in the fact that the shinsengumi could be ronin and omegas #especially all the captains #and we do love a totally hapless alpha #seeing something they shouldn't have and getting low key kidnapped by omega warriors #who all eventually fall for the alpha #i'm not a coward #i won't even make you choose one #they literally all like the mc. it's an otome game. that's the whole bit #a/b/o
