yesterday I watched the first 3 episodes of princess tutu with some friends. very good show, wasn't expecting it to be so... emotionally heavy ig? but in a good way. the 3rd episode really hit me hard, I had to stop after that and just cry for a while.

#psii.txt #it's interesting how grief hits you sometimes in ways you don't expect #ah fuck. crying again thinkin about that episode and the things I thought about after it #it helped me realize some things tbh #also dw I'm not crying hard rn. just some tears you know how it is #I cry real easy #it's kinda funny tbh. I get emotional real easy too but I often struggle to recognize and name my emotions #especially the ones related to complicated things like grieving #I felt like I wasn't sure why I would get so emotional about it when everything I'd seen about grief talked about like living with #the absence of the person in your life. and that's something kind of different from someone you only see occasionally like a grandparent #but there's different kinds of absence #and grief isn't always something that makes sense. sometimes when someone's gone the absence isn't something you can clearly delineate #and the emotions don't come from a clearly citable source either #sometimes it's a very abstract kind of hurting #but that doesn't make it any less real
