All that babble about my new GW2 character and I tragically failed to actually show her off!

I had a lot of fun figuring out the design and aesthetic of a human from two different diasporas who has been blessed from childhood by Balthazar and is capable of both skilled martial fighting and fire/light/buffing magic as a Guardian. And I had two total makeover kits floating around my bank, so I broke one out to give her properly fancy hair :)

#my main challenge was combining the red of the hair piece with blue in a way that didn't scream usa! usa!#but also i really like the top of the luminous heavy armor but not the bottom and blew through three transmutation charges #trying to find something that worked #i love her look now though! she's come a long ways from her 'just trying to get by' days in the tavern #anghraine babbles #anghraine's gaming #anghraine's pics #ascalonian grudgeblog #long post #xiulan azar #i do imagine that she's extremely devout even for a human and have been stubbornly using her racial prayer abilities #the signet of renewal is objectively better than praying to dwayna but the prayer looks SO cool #and hey balthazar gave me some elite fire hounds! very apropos. i am sure nothing will go wrong.#also damn she's raced through levels just by dint of being a human guardian (ie partnered with another guardian in logan)#xiulan and logan are pretty much unkillable gods at this level lmao #also does she need the aspect greatsword? i have some gems left over and ... i think she might
