hey. don't let go of media just because you're older than the target audience. my dad is 61 and watches the cartoons he loved as a kid.

BUT

consume media meant for your age group, too. you might find something you like and, more importantly, your brain needs to consume morals and lessons beyond what stories aimed at kids can provide.

you don't have to grow out of your favorite things but you do have to grow into new things. that is all

#i am a kids media enjoyer #but i am also aware that my brain needs stimulation from adult content!#there are topics that kids media doesn't cover well #and i am not advocating for grimdark sad stories here #you do not have to consume sad media just because you're an adult #there is plenty of happy adult media #and plenty of kids media challenges you to think #i am saying that reading frankenstein will make your brain think about things that a series of unfortunate events will not #so it's good to do both #shrimp monologuing
