When blue meet yellow in the west (8:44 gate)
8:44 is the closest to where two arrows of the clock meet.

Stranger Things 4 opening scene lasts 8 minutes 44 seconds. The timestamp for 8 minutes 44 seconds in 1x01 is the name of the actress that plays Karen. Mike’s mother.

Mr Munson describes the man who committed the murders “pure evil.” Karen means “pure.”
Maybe all these connections between Wheelers and Creels exist because Mike considers his mom one of the reasons Will died. Because she didn’t let them finish the campaign. Because as a result, Will biked home that night, something horrible happened to him at that exact time and Mike never saw him again.
But, wait, the man is responsible. The man did it. Not just a man, but someone, whose name meant “pure.” And guess what, Lonnie’s name means“ready for battle,” “lion” and “noble.” Pure and noble are synonyms (so is the word “righteous” I’ve mentioned here).

We’re shown that the demogorgon/Vecna took Will, because El opened Mothergate into the Upside Down. In original timeline Lonnie took Will, because Karen (the mother) opened the door into Mike’s basement and stopped their game.
8:44 is the time Will met with disaster — Lonnie, his father/papa (Matin “warlike” and Lonnie “ready for battle”), was killed by him, and Mike really lost him.

Why did I ask about this lake? Because the timestamp for the episode 4 (4 chimes, 4 kills, 4 gates) from s1 is the name of the episode — “The Body” is followed by the image of that lake.

It must be Lake Jordan. Jesus Christ — and Will is a Christ figure in ST (read @henrysglock and @pinkeoni posts on biblical references to see the vision) — was baptised in Jordan River, whereas Will was…drowned in Lake Jordan.
Oh, and 8:44 is four 4’s.
