wrote another 500 words today. it’s less than i’d hoped—it’s been quite slow these past few days—so i’m really hoping i can do a lot over the coming weekend to make up for it. i’m also considering rewriting/ making changes to some earlier chapters (the opening two, some of chapter eleven…), which is slightly annoying if i end up doing it, but that’s something for later.

still, the fic’s coming along, which is the main thing.

#i’m just worried i’m sticking too close to the plot of hmc #and i wonder which changes i could make to make it more luofu-centric #of course there are differences and it’s not a complete replica of the book #however it follows the same overall storyline and i do wonder whether some aspects of it can be tweaked #e.g. i’ve adapted the searching-for-justin-and-suliman but i honestly think i could take the opportunity to make up a whole new subplot #which might fit better into the xianzhou side of things #i’m just not sure what that would be yet #what i think i’ll do is keep writing as it is now to the end and then ask the beta readers whether they think changes are required #anyway i’ve gone on for long enough #au: general’s flying ship
