while i’m on my MCR high, i coloured all the art i recently posted of my little goth son I made when i was a little 13yo baby and i also made some more reffy art of him for good measure Things of note about him (most have been the same for years, others are recently refined), if you want to know more you can always ask:

he’s 18yo and pretty short? like 5′3″

his name is Deyck cause his parents were the fantasy equivalent of a shitty suburban white couple and also i was looking for a fugly string of letters

his dad is a necromancer, his mom is a zombie, and he is a LAB BABY held together by the power of dark magic and sheer determination

his mom passed away immediately after he was born because having a child was her Unfinished Business and most undeads move on when they’re fulfilled... his dad (whom was not a stellar parent) followed when Deyck was still 10-11 so he raised himself for years

Has absolutely 0 social skills, but to make up for that, he can see and talk to ghosts, and because he is so good at perceiving them, most ghosts swarm to him to get him to complete their unfinished business, such as retrieving stolen items, writing to still living loved ones, setting records straight, delivering hugs, and occasionally they try to get him to revenge-kill their murderers, which is something he’ll usually negotiate himself out of (but back when i made him, that was his whole deal)

as a result of this he’s become a very skilled sleuth, and he’s also pretty smart tbh

he’s not good at relating to other people and not great at reading emotions (ghosts are so much easier to read), but he means well

he’s afraid of water and eats very little cause his body’s not that great at doing normal body things, so he’s a disaster
