why have i not listened to vkei bands earlier this fucks so hard
#obsession distilled#person who mentioned listening to malice mizer and gazette for samurai yaiba inspiration thank you#this is gonna sound so brainrotted but.... it reminds me of old vocaloid songs i used to listen to. but i mean that in the best way#additionally; finally listened to 385#fucks hard. the fact their name is name based and their vocal style + the use of a keyboard player almost makes me wonder if they inspired#nankidais idea of samurai yaiba.... but its very unlikely and almost certainly just me being rekopilled#it does make me wonder if their name is also a number pun though#sanhachigo(三八五). is that anything?#theres a good chance im writing it in japanese completely incorrectly... theres almost definitely different ways to write that#and if 385 used a specific variance that would change the meaning too... hmmm#listening to 385 and otoboke beaver did only further prove my point to myself though; punk rock even in japan is incredibly led by the#bassline and drums of which are both played by smaurai yaibas least skilled members. theres no way alice can play drums that fast#though honestly reko being willing to have alice as their drummer despite his supposed lack of skill when theyre still definitely some sort#of rock band is even sweeter
