The way my husband and I become angry city planners when we go anywhere that isn’t the US because nothing in the US is built for the ease and accessibility of PEOPLE.

#we’re in the bus rn and pointing out all the various little clever design features #USB ports a place to tap your ticket in the front and the back lots of accessibility features constant displays telling you the next step #*stop #and if you think well isn’t that just intuitive bus design??? EYE agree. turns out no one else in the US does.#European friends I PROMISE I am not ignorant of the many issues European countries face #resurgent fascism austerity politics racism xenophobia etc #but you have to understand: American infrastructure just doesn’t exist #there is nothing
