I DO think randall would retire from the medical field pretty early to pursue writing pulpy horror books. i believe that so firmly it's like canon to me.

#it's not that i don't think he enjoys being a surgeon bc he obviously does have a passion for it and is a great doctor #but i mean just listen to him talk into his tape recorder and try to tell me he isn't meant to write campy paperbacks!!!#and it IS canon that he's working on a book (albeit nonfiction) even while in school.#i think writing is his true calling and he realizes that a bit later on in life #but he's very responsible so he'd wait until he had good financial footing before retiring #in conclusion: we are pulpy romance writer x pulpy horror writer 😌#randalltag #caitiechat
