i do really truly hate how in this past year or so people have started using the term neurodivergent as a synonym for just autism and adhd
#it's just so inaccurate and excluding so many people#and it smacks of neurotypicals trying to once again find a softer more ''politically correct'' term to avoid using the words autistic & adh#(maybe that's just my paranoia but i know for a FACT that that's how my mum uses it. she literally said to me ''people don't even use#autistic as a term anymore so it's not that bad. they just call it neurodivergent now''. which. ugh BAD vibes)#and yeah people who are neurodivergent in other ways deserve to be included and given the same support and recognition & share the identity
