A snippet from the second chapter of my dark fic 'Death' that I started posting this week. :)
Astrid is counting the days until her husband returns. She has the other Riders to help her with the village, along with Valka and her mother helps her with Zephyr and Nuffink, but that doesn’t mean that she isn’t missing Hiccup for every hour that he’s away.
Their marital bed is too empty, she misses his good mornings and goodnights, she can’t vent to anyone like she can with him and-
“Where’s daddy?” And Zephyr keeps asking after him.
The brush pauses as Astrid is halfway down the girl’s red hair.
A snippet for Six SentenceParagraph Sunday from a (as of yet unposted) prologue of a Hiccstrid fic that I might post today called 'The Newlyweds.'
"Do you think you would survive a zombie apocalypse? If yes, why? If no, why?" Tuffnut repeats his question with that mischievous look in his eyes.
Snotlout snorts out loud. "That twig? No way! Look at him!"
"And why wouldn't Hiccup survive?" Astrid jumps to the boy's defense. "He's smart! Muscles don't matter in a survival situation."
"Uh yeah, they matter. If you need to fight your way through a horde, your muscles are going to matter and Hiccup has, like, zero of them."
"If you're smart, you don't get cornered by a horde in the first place," Astrid argues.
"You need to watch more movies, you always get cornered!"
Compiling some, if not all the asks game's i've reblogged in the past so people can send me asks from games at any time:) Just remember to link the one you're using as well! Not linking the ones I personally made because they're in my Games & Userboxes masterlist, but they're also accepted. Will update this as i find them.

Give me whumpees who are shivering so much from their high fever that they can't even hold a bottle of water up to their lips, leaving caretaker to hold it for them like they're bottle feeding a baby animal.
Give me whumpees who've lost so much blood that they're pale and trembling violently, their skin cool to the touch. Their body is desperately trying to keep them warm, but with each new shudder they're just bleeding more and more.
Give me whumpees in shock- whumpees who find out something so emotionally distressing that they can do nothing but shake, eyes fixed on a single point, jolting away from any touch.
Finished that third chapter of that fic I started posting yesterday, Death, and then immediately started on chapter 4. If I write the entire thing at this pace, I might actually just update it weekly or something.
Summary: Post Httyd 3, the dragons never left. When Hiccup and Toothless disappear after responding to a distress message, Astrid and the Dragon Riders give chase.
Warnings: Blood, Gore, Body horror, Horror
Rating: Explicit
Words: 1 641
Fandom: How to Train Your Dragon
Characters: Hiccup, Toothless
Pairing: /
Author's Notes: I had an idea and so I wrote it. Rediscovered Three Days Grace while I did and now a couple of their songs are in my head as I write this fic.
Got the next chapter already done and the third one's halfway there!
If anyone reading this is familiar with my fic, Just a Kid, this one really shouldn't come as a surprise.
-Coughing up blood. The good ol’ “cough into your hand and pull it back to see blood” also never gets old.
-Headaches. You keep fighting as your head pounds, desperately telling you to take a break. At first they fade within minutes when you stop using magic, but overtime, they become chronic.
-Fatigue. After a big battle, you stand triumphant, and then just fall asleep on the spot.
-In a similar vein, overuse causing you to straight up faint rather than just fall asleep. Darkness begins to overtake your vision in the middle of battle, unconsciousness abruptly looming over you.
-Any of the side effects happening to another person. Maybe two close characters are connected, and whatever side effects character A would normally endure are transferred to character B. When A uses a blast of magic B screams loudly because holy shit that hurt.
-Magic gradually deteriorating your mind. Using it too much eventually caused hallucinations and an inability to retain memories, or even larger scale memory loss.
Feel free to add more, I’m looking for some to steal

Hello! I wrote a book and I think y'all will like it. It's for fans of Good Omens, Hannibal, Angels Before Man, and all the queer people who deserve financial compensation from the catholic church.
I present to you:
FIRST CREATION, a high heat queer horror novella with a trans angel MC and a queer demon LI!
FIRST CREATION is a love letter to fallen angels, to finding your place in the world, to connecting to religion in a way that works for you. To touch and peaches, and surviving horrible things, to finding a place to be holy if God won't give it to you. (it's also nasty, and about cannibalism and shame and guilt, too)
It's a 22k word (98 page) novella that you can read in one (or two, or three) sittings.
You can find it on Amazon and itch.io here to read an actual synopsis and look at reviews. You can also find content warnings at the bottom of my website: (I definitely encourage you to read them before you buy!)
