I completely failed at writing anything else and instead knit, which is great cause I finished my last holiday gift but also whoops
#sooooooo#so now once i finish decorating its back to writing the h@wkeye/radar fic#idk man the brainrot is real rn#part of the quote on quote issue is that im trying a different writing process#so usually i post fic after two drafts (including the zero) and i always feel like i could do a better job but meh#so this time im trying to do one more draft#and its going really well!! in that the quality of my writing is skyrocketing rn#but its also really sucky because it takes so much longer to do this final draft#and i have no baseline for myself#like i can knock out a 4-5k word zero draft in a day or two#and (in non-burnout time) a good next draft takes a week at most#but like#this added draft#im consistently averaging like a couple paragraphs a day#and ik ill get faster as i write more/longer etc thats how this works practice makes perfect#but thats part of why im starting another fic instead of finishing the pl@gatine or beedl!nk fics lol#its more serotonin producing (for my adhd) to speed draft than to labour through this additional draft#yknow???#im slowly working on it but sheesh#one of these days ill need to properly turn off my phone and make it so that i can actually just sit#with my document until i write something#thats how i trained myself to write in the first place#just havent gotten there yet

Also saw your post about your writing and milestones. I get how you feel, especially about the fluffs not getting notes. It was really depressing for me personally seeing my smuts skyrocket and my fluffs or plot focused stuff get crumbs <\3 but I hope you know regardless I think you're a great writer and you do different genres so well!!! Your ntl changmin fic broke my heart 🥺 but I think when you start feeling that way, when your hobby doesnt make you as happy anymore, it's time for a break too before you completely start hating it you know 🥺 anyway I hope you get the attention you deserve but I also hope you realise your talent and that you're top quality!

my internship hasnt officially started, it only starts in january bec its part of a professional internship so it occurs by the sem and the current sem hasnt ended yet so-
i have 1 more exam tmr and 1 more film assignment due next wed and im abit demoralised bec the very first script that i wrote and that wouldve been easier to film did not get chosen by my groupmates (i dont fucking know WHY) and they chose a second one that i pitched but it isnt as easy to film/sieve out plot info and now we're at a standstill ugh fucking- sometimes idk what to do w them...
yeah tbh i think ill be taking a break or smth or at least rn im stress writing via timestamps and the longer ones are on hold because i just feel like im writing for the notes now and not because i like it and it's saddening.
