god I love the interest in Lily and her death tentacles

I explained why she's legally dead here and said a bit about the tentacles but god what else... she gets four every time, can't figure out how to make any less or more than that no matter how hard she tries. she can pop them out of her chest or her back, though, which is handy, but again, all four of them have to be coming from the same place.

also her eyes go full, solid white when she uses them? and glow a little? it's creepy to look at, no one likes it.

crucially she CANNOT keep this up for very long; you're gonna get like one (1) big action scene out of Lily before she's done and if overexerted she will fully faint in the middle of a job and need to be carried out. I have this kind of thought that in this world superpowers are notorious for burning through calories, and Lily has it even worse than most. Tash will get hangry is she does too much teleporting without a snack, but she won't lose consciousness. probably it's so rough on Lily because she's, like, an unholy amalgamation of human flesh and an extradimensional nightmare realm, and that puts a lot of strain on a body. she easily eats enough for two people on a daily basis to make up the deficit, and that's fine by her because she LOVES food. she spent a lot of her time floating in the void just making big lists of things she wanted to eat again if she ever escaped.

honestly I'd never thought about it before but I think if you managed to trap her somewhere and deprive her of food for too long, Lily's body would probably start digesting itself before very long. like, two days, tops? interesting!
