hey, not to be weird but shoutout to anyone who's ever been lowkey thirsty or Eyes Emoji or idk even just like 'oh cute!!' about any of my OCs? for one thing I very rarely design my characters with the intention of being attractive-- I just Love Them A Lot, so it makes me feel really good that maybe that's translating through my art; for another thing one of The Hangups about some of the self-indulgent art I feel like doing sometimes is the 'nobody is going to want to see this??' but I have a psychological safety net there now for... actually... all of my OCs?? and I sincerely appreciate that

#like I know I can do whatever I want #but it still feels reassuring to draw something without the fear of a literally UNIVERSAL 'yuck??' response from other people :')#some of the specific name drops I've gotten in response to 'what if I did a pinup calendar' for example have surprised (and delighted!) me!#and like if I did a pinup zine or w/e it would be no fun to leave anybody out BUT it's nice to know everyone would be appreciated 😌#anyway it's kind of silly that I'm thinking about this because of nyssa cause like. she IS designed to be drawn like this lmao #anyway idk. y'all are very nice to me and I appreciate you and I love you #about me #my OCs
