unbelievably sexy of Candela Obscura to use physics related words for horror instead of biology. use more SI units and astronomy-related devices in horror please

#relevant note: i finally just caved and bought the three body problem on wednesday after six years of everyone i knew being like READ THIS #and like. granted i'm like 80 pages in and it's not a horror story per se (afaik?) but physics is underused in horror i feel.#i remember when the LHC went up and people kept asking me if it would make a black hole and i was like. well. nonzero probability!#scariest thing is the unknown after all
