Very, very hectic, these 2020s.

There are so many things going on that I want to be happy for (victories, reunions, holidays, graduations, weddings, baby announcements), but for the past 5 years these clouds of gloom keep hovering close by and shroud what should be exclusively joyous occasions. Covid, Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, elections, protests, natural disasters, health scares, etc. etc. One replacing the next as soon as the previous one leaves. Some hanging around at the same time. Exhausting.

We've all got our coping mechanisms, but we can't grow desensitized to all this. What's going on around the world is NOT normal, and we shouldn't accept it as such. Keep fighting, but always take care of yourselves and your loved ones as you fight.

If anyone else is feeling overwhelmed by all this, you're not alone. We can get through this. 💪🤝💓 We've got the rest of the decade to make right.
