I need my exactly 2 mutual to understand that I didn't really like Nerdy Prudes Must Die itself because I felt super underwhelmed and there was a lot of missed potential-

but I am really banking on fandom tumblr's ability to put on rose colored glasses and make fanart and fanfiction that makes me feel something more.

#I'm not tagging this because no one needs to hear me being critical of something they like #BUT I WILL HIDE MORE OF MY THOUGHTS IN THE TAGS BECAUSE I HAVE MANY-#actually mainly just like... 2?#The music was a lot weaker in this show??? Like the past two had SUCH WONDERFUL MOTIFS and musical callbacks that made me feel so fucked up #but this one... really lacked that? The lyrics didn't hit quite as hard (with some REALLY notable exceptions)#and the motifs WERE NOT THERE FUCKING ME UP LIKE THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO-#all of the gwdlm (broken up like that not to tag lmao) was FULL of motifs and it made Inevitable SUCH a strong song #and BF even in it's weaker moments used musical callbacks VERY well. really not so much in this one #and my second issue was just like...
