#tv: frasier#frasieredit#frasier#niles crane#i think this episode marks an important point in the development of niles's feelings for daphne#because at first it is an infatuation brought on by niles instant attraction to her plus his unhappy marriage#and we've slowly seen it progress from there#but now we're in season three#and niles has never taken an active role in sabotaging daphne's chance for a relationship#so we both see that his feelings have obviously progressed beyond an attraction#and we also have his bad behavior checked by frasier and rectified#so it pushes his feelings into a much more grounded if no less complicated place#while enforcing a moral boundary that he cannot cross in spite of his feelings#things i made
