It’s ridiculous how much housing prices have gone up around here.
Yeah. Paying higher rent is fine if it’s worth the money, but most of the “cheaper” places are not.

#FreeDemirtaşandYüksekdağ
In May 2016 parliamentary immunity for parliamentarians was lifted in Turkey. The only reason Erdogan changed the law is because he wants to get rid of people that are in his way, he wants to have control of everything. He wants to arrest people that fight for the Kurdish cause, arresting those that want kurdish people and other minorities in Turkey to have the same rights as everybody else. Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ, the two leaders of the 2nd largest opposition party, the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party, are facing 142 (Demirtaş) and 83 (Yüksekdağ) years in prison for supposedly supporting the PKK. Something they have always denied, but to Erdogan it does not matter. Because when you fight for Kurdish rights you are a terrorist (look at what he is doing in Syria). The state has always harassed the Kurdish Party and its members, and they won't stop until they got what they want.
