Thank you so much! I've been overwhelmed by all of the lovely birthday wishes I've gotten here on Tumblr, which made a slightly dreary day (because of the weather, which was nonstop pouring rain) much brighter. I also got this excellent little gift from my lovely friend @daziechane, which made me smile:

I love that of all the pictures of Michael and David that could've been used for this, it's one from the NTAs. I love how handsome and happy and soft they were that night, and how three years later, it's still one of the most memorable nights in Ineffable Lovers/Shennant history (right up there with Michael going to see Macbeth and the 2024 BAFTAs).

But today was a pretty good (if low-key) day. My parents and I had brunch together (homemade Belgian waffles, whipped cream, cut up pineapple) and dinner (herb-crusted salmon, roasted potatoes, and asparagus with crispy garlic and cheese, also cooked by me because we had to change previously made dinner reservations due to the weather). I'm also excited and thoroughly amused to report that I got a Tucci pan as a birthday present (fitting, because as you can probably tell, I love to cook). And yes, it is the very same Tucci pan that David and Georgia highlighted in an unboxing video on Insta last month...

The color is even more gorgeous in person than online, as if that's somehow possible, and I love it so much and can't wait to cook something in it.

So yes, that was my day today. I think I'm still recovering a bit from my trip to Vegas (I really somehow almost forgot how much total nonstop sensory overload takes a toll on me...), but definitely feeling better every day. My most heartfelt thanks to you and everyone else who has commented/DMed to wish me a happy birthday. I truly do appreciate it! ❤️
