Okay, some explanation about the setting: Larry is a guard of Marble Valley Academy, a school for training young witches. His regular muggle ass was employed there 70 years ago until he died, but was recently resurrected and now works as a guard again. (The setting of Marble Valley Academy doesn’t belong to me, it’s actually an RP server I’m apart of!)

His full name is Larrold "Larry" Luigi Werbenjagermanjensen. Here’s why!

When he was just a nameless corrupted ghost, my friend offhandedly called him "Larry" as a joke. This same friend later made a second joke saying Larry was short for Larrold.

In one of the pictures I drew of him, another friend commented that he had a Luigi run. I told her that was such a crazy coincidence. His middle name is Luigi.

The reason Larry terrorized the academy he used to guard is because a certain student stole the helmet off his skeleton. A third friend made a Spongebob joke. Thus, Werbenjagermanjensen.

And so the circle of stupidity is complete.

The reason why I chose 70 years ago as his time of death is because. Well. He has some similar qualities to Captain America, and Cap was frozen for 70 years. So.

Larry doesn’t remember how he died, but I do. He was murdered! :D

His family was super poor, but he loved them a lot. His mom was kind and sweet, and his little sister was a happy-go-lucky gremlin. (Shhh, don’t tell my friends, but Larry is scared of going looking to see if his little sis is still alive.)

When in danger, his first instinct is to protect other people, even if it means putting his own life at risk.

Back to funny stuff. There’s a school chatroom that he has access to, but he texts like an old old man. The students keep making fun of his name. They keep using acronyms he doesn’t understand. Please help him.

Likes: Cheesecake, training, spicy food, dogs, holy shit does he love dogs, and I’m sure if anyone introduced him to modern things like video games and movies, he’d suck that shit right up

Shuckle (the turtle amalgam he is fused to): This is his best friend! They get along really well and aren’t afraid to poke fun at each other.

Jaspii (an energetic bug/angel witch that also lives in the school’s garden): Basically like a sibling to him. A really tall sibling that is actually 5 years old.

Cinnamon (Jaspii’s caring snail familiar who becomes human sometimes): This is his mom. Like, not actual mom, but she’s the mom friend to everybody.

Nat (a dragon witch who can see people’s dreams): She has a crush on him and Cinnamon lol. But he doesn’t know that and thinks she’s pretty cool. (And he’s right!)

Hatabou (the childlike principal): His boss whom he respects, but the childlike mannerisms throw him off sometimes.

Junsa (the chipper head guard): His other boss whom he respects, but Junsa also almost called him sir once because of how old he is.

Buns (the witch who stole his helmet--my witchsona!): Hate.

as an utterly hopeless romantic, i certainly want to. i think because of like … insecurities, self hate and stuff (not to get too deep), it’s a comforting idea to me to like Know that there’s someone out there who doesn’t see me the way i do … but realistically? no. i think you gotta realize that relationships are hard and something you have to work to keep healthy and happy and not as magically problem-solving as soulmate tropes make it out to be. so short answer: realistically no, ideally yes. 

💌- diary or journal?

the one i write in is honestly a mix of both, but i think it’s more of a diary. it’s cathartic to write things out when you don’t wanna talk to someone else about it (or in addition to venting to another person) and for the journal aspect of it, i really like looking back on things i did back in the day. i’ve had a diary/journal hybrid since like 2008-ish? so i love that !

ooh good question …. there’s a lot! i think i see bits of myself in a lot of characters so there isn’t any One (1) person i relate to the most. shaw from person of interest keeps coming to mind but maybe i’ve just absorbed parts of her, rather than actually being like her so who knows . jessica jones is another one, in some aspects. i think just from those two you can tell the Type of character i not only gravitate towards, but relate to too

irl? no, i’m not. i have plenty of celebrity crushes though so i can’t even begin to start listing those. honestly most of the celebs i talk about / reblog on here are most likely a crush . to paraphrase an iconic pisces, yeah i’m a love whore and what about it ??? dfjkdhkjff

a more recent fav but i’ve been really interested in diphylleia grayi / skeleton flowers lately. part of me doesn’t even know if they’re like real, but i’ve written a lot about them lately (and ofc listened to the jonghyun song about it) so i’ve had a sort of attachment to them lately. aside from that, i don’t really have a favorite? i think they’re all pretty
