I have a bizarrely long history of being kicked out of online groups/roleplaying games and then weaseling my way back in. It's a whole thing.

But I was just thinking about it in terms of how autistic people are more likely to ignore rules that seem unnecessary/illogical, and while that hasn't been the reason for all my escapades, it's definitely played a part.

And I guess even when it's not the direct reason, there's still the mindset of "well, I was kicked out for a stupid, unjust reason, so I'm just gonna refuse to accept that."

I can be a real brat about it.

I once hid my identity and continued playing in a game for years after I'd been told I couldn't play the character I wanted to. Did play her. I was just impressively sneaky about it. They only found out after I got bored and started testing how much I could hint before I got caught.

And no, their reason for not letting me play that character never became an issue.

SSO Club Recruitment! (Wild Horses)

Hey everyone! A note before I start: I don't usually post about Star Stable Online on this blog, but I've been into the game for almost the entirety of its existence. If you don't want to see posts relating to this game, I will be tagging them with #SSO so that you won't have to see them! That being said, this post is relevant to SSO, so if you don't care about that, then you don't need to read any further!

-Wild Horses application information- Ok, so now that that's over, I'm looking to start my club. Like /actually/ start my club! Back about two or three years ago when new club names were added I was goofing around with club names. To my surprise, the club name "Wild Horses" wasn't taken, so I took it immediately. I planned to start a club a few months after that, and then once more, but unfortunately SSO's chat restrictions and younger community really aren't the best for that. I got a lot of hate for denying applicants and people would leave if I was inactive for one (1) day. So now I'm deciding to try a different approach; recruiting on Tumblr! I will post the information below so that you can decide if you're eligible/want to apply! Club name: Wild Horses Primary Server (subject to change): Hazy Galaxy Focus: Wild horse stampedes, wild horse mode in general, friendliness and socialness, any and all disciplines welcome! Leader and Owner: Florencia Northvalley Competitive?: Not at the moment, but maybe at some point! In game requirements (listed below, only exceptions are made for preexisting members): -Must be a permanent Star Rider! -Must have access to Golden Leaf, human character needs to be at least level 16 -Must have at least 4 level 15 horses (two of which need to be newer models, one of which can travel in Dino Valley at full speed) -Must be active once a week. -Played for at least 6 months. Other requirements (listed below, only exceptions are made for preexisting members): -Must be mature, friendly, and know how to have fun! -Must have a Discord and be willing to join a club server -Must be 16 or older (Please don't apply if you aren't 16 or older!) -You cannot, and I stress, CANNOT be someone who wants to cause unnecessary drama. -You cannot come in and expect to rule the club, or expect immediate seniority to make you above anyone else. I own the club, and even if I have a few people who run it with me, my decision is final in the end. Please respect that. -No negative/derogatory behavior towards other clubs for any reason at all. Do not hate on other players/their clubs. Preferred qualities, but not required(listed below): -Level 15 starter horse -Working mic/able to VC in Discord -Able to record videos (bonus points if you can be a recorder for the club!) -Multiple colorful outfits/tack pairings -Played for at least 2 years If you've made it this far and want to apply, here's how: -PM me here on Tumblr (I will ask you if you're 16 or older to begin with) -I will send you a link to an application form through Google Forms, which you'll then need to fill out -Send your application and wait -You will receive a PM on Tumblr confirming/denying your application. If you are accepted, I will arrange a date for a meetup and get together with all new members so that I can add you as a friend, add you to the club, and so that we can get to know each other! If your application doesn't make the cut, please don't take it personally, and you can always apply again at a later time (2 months minimum between applications.) Please understand that I want what's best for the club, and I do want to have this be a stress-free and fun environment. If at any time, for any reason, you feel uncomfortable with another club member, just notify me and we can talk about it.
